Note: The main draw for tourists coming to Dwarka, the Dwarkadhish Temple (Jagat Mandir), is believed to have been established more than 2500 years ago by Lord Krishna’s great grandson, Vajranabh. Dwarka on the western tip of the Kathiawar Peninsula is clubbed with the holiest sites in India – the Char Dhams that include Badrinath, Puri and Rameshwaram.

Breakfast at Hotel, after breakfast drive to Porbandar (105kms/2hrs), on arrival sightseeing of Mahatma Gandhi’s Birth House, later lunch at hotel, after lunch drive to Somnath (132Kms/2.5Hrs), on arrival check in at hotel, later sightseeing of Shree Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple, Evening free on leisure at Somnath Beach.

Note: Porbandar is a city in the Indian state of Gujarat, perhaps best known for being the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi and Sudama. The Somnath temple located in Veraval in Saurashtra on the western coast of Gujarat, India is believed to be the first among the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva.

Day 04

Breakfast at Hotel, after breakfast drive to Diu,(85Kms/2.5hrs), on arrival transfer to hotel, after lunch sightseeing of Diu Fort, Naida Caves, evening free on Jalandhar Beach.

Day 05

Breakfast at Hotel, after breakfast drive to Sassan Gir (100kms/2.5HRs), on arrival transfer to hotel, after lunch safari of Gir National Park.

Note: The Government notified the large geographical extent of Sassan Gir as wildlife sanctuary on 18th September, 1965 in order to conserve the Asiatic Lion.

Note: Ahmedabad, in western India, is the largest city in the state of Gujarat. The Sabarmati River runs through its centre. On the western bank is the Gandhi Ashram at Sabarmati, which displays the spiritual leader’s living quarters and artifacts. Across the river, the Calico Museum of Textiles, once a cloth merchant’s mansion.

Day 07

Breakfast at Hotel, after breakfast drive to Kevadia (195kms/3.5Hrs), on arrival sightseeing of “the statue of Unity”, lunch at hotel, after lunch drive back to Ahmedabad, evening free at Sabarmati Riverfront after dinner transfer to airport

Note: It is the world’s tallest Statue with a height of 182 metres dedicated to Vallabhbhai Patel the Indian statesman and independence activist and first deputy prime minister and home minister of Independent India. Patel was highly respected for his leadership in uniting 562 princely states of India with a major part of the former British Raj to form the single Union of India.
