The rock caves of Ajanta and Ellora are famous for it’s sculptures and painting. The caves are so grand and rich with ancient vibes that one could have easily shot an episode of game of thrones here! Moving on, Goa is one of the most popular holiday destination in India, knows for its beaches, shacks, old forts, Goan cuisine and culture.

Arrival – Mumbai

Day 01

Arrival at International Airport, on arrival welcome garland at the Airport by representative of Everbright India, later transfer to respective hotel for overnight stay.

Mumbai – Elephanta Island – Mumbai

Day 02

Breakfast at Hotel, later drive to Gateway of India to board on Cruise to depart Elephanta Island. Elephanta island consists of five Hindu caves and a few. Buddhist stupa mounts that date back to the 2nd Century BCE. The Elephanta cave contain rock cut stone sculptures. This is tour of almost 3-4 hours including the cruise ride.

Note: Elephanta Island is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site and Mani Bhavan is Museum and former residence of Mahatma Gandhi. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus is UNESCO listed Gothic Revival Station.

Mumbai – Kanheri Caves – Aurangabad

Day 03

Breakfast at Hotel, after breakfast sightseeing of Kanheri Caves. The Kanheri Caves are a group of caves and rock-cut monuments cut into a massive basalt outcrop. These caves contain Buddhist sculptures and relief carvings, paintings and inscriptions dating from 1st century CE to 10th Century CE.

After sightseeing lunch at restaurant, later fly to Aurangabad.

Dinner and overnight

Aurangabad – Ajanta – Ellora – Aurangabad

Day 04

Breakfast at Hotel, after breakfast drive for the sightseeing of Ajanta Caves 100Kms/3Hrs, on arrival sightseeing of The Ajanta Caves which have approximately 30 rock-cut Buddhist cave monuments which date from the 2nd century BCE to about 480 CE.
After lunch drive back to Aurangabad. On arrival sightseeing of for the sightseeing of Bibi Ka Maqbara.

The Bibi Ka Maqbara is a tomb located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. It was commissioned in 1660 by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in the memory of his first and chief wife Dilras Banu Begum and is considered to be a symbol of Aurangzeb’s ‘conjugal fidelity’. It bears a striking resemblance to the Taj Mahal

Aurangabad – Mumbai – Goa

Day 05

Breakfast at Hotel, after breakfast sightseeing Kailasa Temple, The Kailasha or Kailashanatha temple is the largest of the rock-cut Hindu temples at the Ellora Caves, Maharashtra, India. A megalith carved from a rock cliff face, it is considered one of the most remarkable cave temples in the world because of its size, architecture and sculptural treatment. Later sightseeing of Ellora Caves.

Ellora is one of the largest rock-cut monastery-temple cave complexes in the world, featuring Hindu, Buddhist and Jain monuments, and artwork, dating from the 600–1000 CE period.

After lunch fly to Mumbai to connect flight to Goa,

On arrival transfer to Hotel.

Note: Ellora Caves is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Kailasa temple is notable for being the largest monolithic structure in the world carved out of a single piece of rock.

Goa

Day 06

Breakfast at Hotel, after breakfast sightseeing of Aguada fort, Basilica of Bom Jesus, after lunch relax at Beach, Dinner and overnight.

Note: Aguada fort is 17th Century Fortress, and Basilica of Bom Jesus is UNESCO listed Baroque Catholic Church.

Goa – Mumbai – Departure

Day 07

Early breakfast at hotel, than board on cruise on Mandovi River for Dolphin Spotting. One hour of cruising in Arabian Sea spotting is very pleasant. Later free on leisure. Afternoon fly back to Mumbai to connect onward journey
