Arrive Guwahati by Air or Train, meet and greet at Airport or Railways station, after warm welcome you will be transferred to Kaziranga.
In case guest arrives early guest can visit Kamakhya Temple from outside
Maa Kamakhya or Kameswari is the renowned Goddess of Desire whose famous shrine is located in the heart of Nilachala Hill situated in the western part of Guwahati, it is one of the most sacred and oldest of the 51 Shati Pithas of Hindu religion. The shrine remain closed during Ambubachi Mela, locally known as “Ameti” or “Amoti” is the biggest religious congregation, It is observed during the monsoon season in the month of ‘Ashara’ as per Assamese/ Bengali calendar beginning with the seventh day which falls around 21st or 22nd of June of Gregorian Calendar.
Kaziranga: One of the most sought after wildlife holiday destinations in India, Kaziranga National park’s 430 square kilometer area sprinkled with elephant-grass meadows, swampy lagoons, and dense forests is home to more than 2200 Indian one-horned rhinoceros, approximately 2/3rd of their total world population. Undoubtedly, the park is known for its good population of animals but more than that it’s the wildlife conservation initiatives that take place in the park are more popular. With its amazing wildlife conservation activities, the park has successfully managed to grow the population of Greater one-horned rhinoceros, an endangered species
